    How to make a proper capirinha

    ​

    1. Finely slice or cut up a lime and dump in a glass.

    2. Add 2 heaping tablespoons of unrefined or brown sugar.

    3. Muddle until no sugar grains are visible and it looks syrupy.

    4. Pour in 3 oz. of cachaça. Yeah, you heard me.

    5. Stir, then add ice until the glass is full.

    6. Sip, don't gulp. It's a lot stronger than it tastes.

    7. Saúde!
