How to make a proper capirinha

Finely slice or cut up a lime and dump in a glass.

Add 2 heaping tablespoons of unrefined or brown sugar.

Muddle until no sugar grains are visible and it looks syrupy.

Pour in 3 oz. of cachaça. Yeah, you heard me.

Stir, then add ice until the glass is full.

Sip, don't gulp. It's a lot stronger than it tastes.
